In addition to specific monitoring programs (such as MEGARA, for example), the Saint-Barthélemy Territorial Environment Agency records all marine mammal sightings. 

If you see a whale or a pod of dolphins, give us a call! These sightings, and their compilation, are an essential source of information, which is exploited, for example, at every nautical event: the more accurate our knowledge of where and when people go, the more effective our efforts to minimize risks, particularly during nautical events.
